The Office of Alumni Relations is advised by a Board of Governors, comprised of alumni who help U Alumni advance its mission of creating, fostering, and preserving lifelong relationships between the university and its alumni, students, and the community.
U Alumni also oversees the Student Alumni Board (SAB) and the MUSS Board. Both are open to students interested in advancing U Alumni’s goal of preparing students to become engaged alumni through traditions, service, mentoring, and connection with the U Alumni network. The MUSS Board operates Utah’s student athletics fan clubs.

Open through nominations and applications to U alumni who are at least five years past their date of graduation. Board of Governors members serve three-year terms.
Open to U students registered for the current academic year. SAB’s one-year term is July–June.
Open to U students registered for the current academic year with at least one year remaining. The MUSS board one-year term is January–December.
