Honor Roll: Mickey Ibarra MEd’80 gave the U’s Hinckley Institute Forum keynote address and was honored at a reception for The Mickey Ibarra Papers in March. He served as assistant to the president and director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House from 1997 to 2001.

 Pac-12 Perks: A new report shows that the University of Utah's move to the Pac-12 increased the economic impact of U football games by 60 percent in the inaugural 2011-2012 season. 
  • Gymnastics: The University of Utah will host the NCAA regional meet on April 7, and the top two teams will advance to the championships April 20.
  • Skiing: The U ski team took second place in the NCAA Championships in March, just behind Vermont.
  • Track & Field: The Utah women's team took the first four places in the 800m race at the Arizona State Invitational.
