Enjoy a day on the course with other U alums and friends, socially distanced of course. The event features one of three categories—men's, women's, or mixed groups.

Price  |  $100 per golfer; $20 per mulligan    Purchase Mulligans

Stay safe while celebrating Homecoming 2020! To help decrease the potential spread of COVID-19, we recommend wearing a mask and maintaining social distance while participating in this event. Please ride single in golf carts unless sharing with someone from your household, or walk the course.

Opportunity Drawing

Event registration includes one (1) digital ticket for an opportunity drawing for one of two grand prize packages listed below. You may purchase additional digital tickets for $25 each.

  • Traeger Silverton 620 pellet grill and U-branded accessories
  • U-branded golf bag and accessories

Homecoming 2020 social media challenges

Take your best selfie in your U gear and a photo of your course location and post to your favorite social platform with #HCGolf2020 for a chance to win some U swag! Three winners will be chosen for each challenge. Photos submitted may be used for future promotional purposes. Contests run throughout the event window (Oct. 3–17) and winners will be announced on Oct. 17.

Live Golf Event FAQs

  • Golf cart and fees (range and practice greens will be closed due to COVID-19).
  • One ticket for the opportunity drawing for one of four grand prizes including a Traeger Silverton Grill with accessories.
  • Additional “digital” tickets for the opportunity drawing can be purchased for $25/each on the registration form.
  • Lunch on the cart.
  • The opportunity to win U swag on the course and through social media.
  • Anyone join the Oct. 10 event at Old Mill Golf Course in Salt Lake City.
  • Sign up individually, or with a team up to four players.
  • Every registrant will be entered in the opportunity drawing for one of two grand prize packages:
    • Traeger Silverton Grill and U-branded accessories
      You must be able to pick up the grill at the Alumni House
    • U-branded  golf bag and accessories
  • Additional “digital” tickets for the opportunity drawing can be purchased for $25/each on the registration form. The $25 is considered a donation and will go directly to support the programs of U Alumni that provide over $800K a year to deserving students.
  • Additional challenges/prizes will be offered on the course and through social media.
  • You must be registered for the event to be eligible for the opportunity drawing or social media challenges.
  • You will be notified by email if you qualify for a challenge prize or the opportunity drawing.
  • Or watch the virtual awards event on October 20 at 5 p.m.
