Alumni Association Honors Five Graduates In South Korea
The University of Utah Alumni Association hosted more than 100 alumni at a dinner on November 3 at the Jack Nicklaus Country Club in Songdo, South Korea, and presented awards to five outstanding U alumni there.

John Ashton BS'66 JD'69, the Alumni Association's executive director, led the dinner and was joined by special guests who included University of Utah President David W. Pershing, as well as Michael L. Hardman BS'71 MEd'73 PhD'75, the U's new chief global officer; Barbara Snyder, U vice president for student affairs; other University administrators; and Utah business and community leaders.
The University of Utah's South Korea Alumni Association was represented by Yong-Teh Lee PhD'70, former president of that association; Sae-Young Kim PhD'87, the Korean association's current president; and other prominent U alumni living in South Korea.
